Hey Mamas! Let's be honest... we tend to be the one taking the photos of our kiddos and not the ones IN the photos! Even as a photographer, I rarely end up in the photos with my own kids and we've got cameras around on a regular basis!
When I was looking at my calendar and realized Mother's Day is coming up - I decided it would be a fun time to focus on the moms! I'm so excited to be offering mommy and me sessions this coming Sunday - May 2nd, 2021!
Below you'll find information on the package available, what to wear, etc.!

There's a fun area in the middle of downtown Detroit Lakes that I'll be taking sessions at! It's got clean walls that make photos pop, staircases, etc. So many options! After booking, I'll connect with the meeting location!

With the growth of online shops, shopping for your littles is more fun than ever! We recommend choosing color families (neutrals, blues, etc) over perfectly matching outfits. If you're looking for some inspiration or some of our favorite shops for kids, check out the link to our Pinterest boards below!
For the Littles
When picking outfits I recommend keeping in mind the word “complement” rather than “match.” For example, Mom may want to choose a long, soft pastel dress while one kiddo is in a patterned outfit and another in a solid outfit. It can also be a great idea to choose “color-families,” such as pastels or jewel tones. Wear outfits that you love and feel confident in!

WARDROBE STYLING
Within 5 days of your session, you'll receive an online gallery where you'll be able to view your images. I'll give you a special code so you can download your favorite 5 images from the shoot. If you'd like to purchase additional photos, it's either $20 per photo OR you can get all the photos in your gallery for a flat fee of $100.
You'll have 2 weeks to download your images and make decisions if you'd like to purchase more!
How do i receive my photos?
Yes!! Please do! I love seeing mamas post their images!

Can i post my photos on social media?
As of right now, our forecast is looking good for Sunday (May 2nd). If it ends up raining on Sunday, I'll message everyone and set up a reschedule date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Absolutely! You can easily order prints at a low cost through your gallery or you can upload your images to your own print lab of choice and print there.
can i print my images?
These mini sessions are focused on moms and their kid(s) so there are not any other people allowed at the session. I plan on hosting more mini sessions throughout the year and always have family sessions available at anytime!
